No, actually they dont ban you..... my cousin has had it for a long time and he still hasnt been banned.. u might get banned or u might not, its ur choice to get it, besides if u do, just use it again, and again and again, and lol if they still ban all those ones then just get a bunch of non-steam games but make sure they're still aloud to play online, otherwise u might get bored out of ur mind playing it with bots or story mode all the time -_-

There's no virus. There is a comeback code that keeps steam from doing multiple checks. The only problem I had was playing the Office without closing pacsteam, it kept trying to switch back. I downloaded DIPRIP and a couple others and played fine also. Thanks!

I have to warn everyone...I have UT2004 on 3 computers (NOT d/l from Steam). They were working fine until I messed around with pacsteam. Now even on LAN games it does a master server check and denies. Before that, I would leave the game on for hours on the PCs and it never did that and everyone could play. Wonder what else is fucked up now.

not for me, if i'd click multiplayer it just wouldnt load any servers to play on. ive scince bought the game so i could use multiplayer. but it was nice to try it out first :P

Guys you can play online if you install default steam then get the files from there, put them in pacsteam folder and update pacsteam CLIENT CRACKED, then it should work fine.
Me and my friend tried it out and it worked perfectly.
